A 2019 post

Today's Craft is to create a "3D Cat"

Today's creation "3D Cat" again allows you, to design the Cat's Face and any extras that you would like to add...

For example I decided to use "Paper from an EverGreens pad" to cover the templates"; I also used pre-made eyes and used Gell Pens to add extras.

If you're having problems viewing the Vidcasts try these links -

Let's take a look at the steps to make the "3D Cat"...

1: "3D Cat", you'll need...
- paper, glue (Pritt stick), scissors, card & pencil

  • Step 1 : Draw the Templates

NOTE: As always, you can make as many different templates as you like

  • Step 2 : Cut out all the parts of the "3D Cat" and, if like me you're going to use paper to cover each part, cover each part.

  • Step 3 : Create the "3D Cat's" Head in any way you would like.

  • Step 4 : Don't forget to add the "3D Cat's" ears

  • Step 5 : Create the "3D Cat's" front

  • Step 6 : Glue the Head to the Body

  • Step 7 : Create the "3D Cat's" Back Legs and Tail and glue them together

Step 8 : Create the Body Joining part and Glue the Front & Back together so the "3D Cat" stands on all four legs

Here's my attempt at the "3D Cat"

I hope that your children and/or Grandchildren like making the "3D Cat" and find the Step-by-Step useful and enjoyable to make.

Ready to make one, two or more yourself?

Let’s do it.

If you have a go at creating your own "3D Cat" do share your feedback, positive and/or negative, in the comments.

It would also be nice to see what your children and/or Grandchildren thought about creating their own "3D Cat"

ENJOY!

Thank You!

A 2019 post

Thursday 3rd April 2019

Today's Craft is for Easter again
(YES! Another Rabbit but a useful present this time)

Today's creation is an "Easter Bunny Pen Holder" which involves designing your own Rabbit's Face and any extras you want to add...

Let's take a look at the steps to make the "Easter Bunny Pen Holder"...

1:"Easter Bunny Pen Holder", you'll need...
- paper, glue (Pritt stick), scissors, card, something heavy to make it more stable & pencil

Step 1 : Draw the template and cut out the different parts shown here...

(Use coloured card/paper and/or draw and colour instead)

NOTE: As always, you can make as many different templates as you like

Step 2 : Stick the "Easter Bunny Pen Holder's"base to close off the end of the toilet roll tube; flaps on outside.

Step 3 : Stick the "Easter Bunny Pen Holder's" body & ears around the tube.

Step 4 : Cut out the two feet and glue them on the body's base.

Step 5 : Cut out the inner ears and glue them on along with the eyes;
NOTE:- These can be drawn and coloured if you'd like.

Step 6 : Stick the circular base onto the bottom, under the glued feet.

Step 7 : Colour the base, if you haven't already,so that the feet stand out.

Step 8 :  Last, but not least, it's down to your imagination. It's very much up to you what you add....and that's it, mine looked like this...

Today's Craft is for Easter again

Today's creation "Another Easter Bunny" involves designing your own Face and any extras you want to add...

The "Easter Bunny" can have any message you would like - e.g. I'd write something like this...

"I met a little rabbit onceA hopping on his wayI said, "Where are you going on such a lovely day?"He said with just the slightest frown,"Don't hinder me I pray!I'm taking round the Easter EggsBecause it's EASTER DAY"
