This is the #23 Vidcast
"Time For A Change - 3D Cat

#23 Vidcast "3D Cat"

(in the UK & USA)

A 2019 post

Wednesday 10th April 2019

Today's Craft is to create a "3D Cat"

Today's creation "3D Cat" again allows you, to design the Cat's Face and any extras that you would like to add...

For example I decided to use "Paper from an EverGreens pad" to cover the templates"; I also used pre-made eyes and used Gell Pens to add extras.

Let's take a look at the steps to make the "3D Cat"...

1: "3D Cat", you'll need...
- paper, glue (Pritt stick), scissors, card & pencil

  • Step 1 : Draw the Templates

NOTE: As always, you can make as many different templates as you like

  • Step 2 : Cut out all the parts of the "3D Cat" and, if like me you're going to use paper to cover each part, cover each part.

  • Step 3 : Create the "3D Cat's" Head in any way you would like.

  • Step 4 : Don't forget to add the "3D Cat's" ears

  • Step 5 : Create the "3D Cat's" front

  • Step 6 : Glue the Head to the Body

  • Step 7 : Create the "3D Cat's" Back Legs and Tail and glue them together

Step 8 : Create the Body Joining part and Glue the Front & Back together so the "3D Cat" stands on all four legs

Here's my attempt at the "3D Cat"

I hope that your children and/or Grandchildren like making the "3D Cat" and find the Step-by-Step useful and enjoyable to make.

Ready to make one, two or more yourself?

Let’s do it.

If you have a go at creating your own "3D Cat" do share your feedback, positive and/or negative, in the comments.

It would also be nice to see what your children and/or Grandchildren thought about creating their own "3D Cat"

ENJOY!

Thank You!
